We have exciting news to announce for the 2008 edition of Kosmos Music & Dance Camp...
First, we have found a bigger, better home for Kosmos. The new site is in Cazadero, located in western Sonoma County, CA near Santa Rosa, just 15 minutes from the Russian River and the Pacific Ocean. It's much closer to both the SF Bay Area (less than 2 hours drive!) and Sacramento. While Saratoga Springs will always have a place in our hearts, the popularity of Kosmos simply outgrew the facilities.
Nestled among majestic Redwood trees, the new Cazadero Camp location offers huge dance spaces, a gorgeous performance amphitheater, and a camp atmosphere soaked in rustic charm. The frustration of previous dorm accomodations has been eliminated, thanks to Cazadero Camp's comfy tent/cabins. With beds and private decks, these four-person lodgings are a definite upgrade to both the crowded dorms and traditional tents. Don't worry... If you prefer your own tent, we'll have plenty of room for those as well. Plus, a limited number of private canopies for couples!
In order to simplify sign ups, we're providing all three types of accomodations at the same price. You won't have to pay a premium to get the lodging you prefer. And we're even offering a substantial discount to those who want to reserve their space straight away! Sign up before January 1st and you'll save $80 over the standard rate of $375. With the early-bird rate of just $295, that's even $30 less than last year's basic camping price!
Ultimately, Kosmos is both a school of music and dance, as well as an unforgettable celebration among friends. It is a special getaway where people bond their passions and talents. We hope you join us and help create a unique community that we all can cherish in the years to come.
